What clarity does NOT mean….

Being clear of your desires and of your hopes and of your dreams does not mean that life will be perfect. There is no magic wand that anyone can wave from above their head that will do that.

Being clear of your purpose, of your destiny and of your future does not mean that there will be no obstacles.  There is no bulldozer big enough to move away all challenges that are set in our path.

Being clear of your plans, your goals and of your success does not mean that there will be no times of doubt and concern. There is no mindset that strong and large. (Even Louise Hay has said that sometimes her mind throws in a negative now and then!)

What being clear DOES mean is that you KNOW all of these things….You know your desires, hopes and dreams. Being clear means that you do have a strong sense of purpose, destiny and of a bright future. Being clear means that you have plans, goals and are sure of success.

Being clear means that you know there will be obstacles in your way but are willing to challenge them and move around them or through them ~ if need be to get to the ‘other side’. Being clear means that you embrace obstacles knowing that they all of them are there for a reason and you embrace them with maturity and responsibility. Being clear means that you enjoy the journey of this and see these obstacles as lessons learned for future success.

Jimmy Cliff said it best about clarity:

I can see clearly now the rain is gone
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind
It’s gonna be a bright, bright sunshinin’ day

Oh yes, I can make it now the pain is gone
All of the bad feelings have disappeared
Here is the rainbow I’ve been praying for
It’s gonna be a bright, bright sunshinin’ day

Look all around, there’s nothing but blue skies
Look straight ahead, there’s nothing but blue skies

And yes, It’s gonna be a bright, bright sunshinin’ day Is my theme song for today!!!!

You can play it here~ doesn’t playing it just make any obstacle that much lighter. It helps me feel like this list of things before me and the challenges I see be embraced with great ease and FUN!!!!!!

What obstacles are you embracing today and what do you to make the challenge fun?

  1. Beautiful sunny message!
When we have clarity in ourselves and a strong purpose we know how to transfrom and obstacle into gratitude and inner peace.

  2. Laura,
great post – it’s so true, there will be obstacles, but what we need to remember is that they are just that obstacles. Your post reminded me of a children’s song. The beginning of it goes:
    Goin’ on a lion hunt.
Goin to catch a big one.
    I’m not afraid.
    Look, what’s up ahead?

    Mud!
    Can’t go over it.
    Can’t go under it.
    Can’t go around it.
    Gotta go through it.

So take time to think about how you can go through that obstacle and end up on the other side where the rainbow lies.
