7 Steps to Connect to Your Oracle Cards

So you found a deck of Oracle cards that you really resonate with. What now? To get the most of  self-readings, you must connect to your Oracle cards.

By definition, Oracle is a medium through whom advice is asked. So, your Oracle Deck is divine tool that offers you guidance. As such, it needs to be treated with Tender Loving Care and that starts with how you connect to these cards. You can simply start asking a question and seeing what lesson and meaning the card gives you. Or you can program your cards to your own inner wisdom. If your inner wisdom and soul always knows the truth , then why would you want to start using the cards without making this connection to them for you?

To connect to Your Oracle Cards, you will want to consecrate them. You can do this by following these steps:

The process can be much more involved than this  but at first you will want to do at least the steps above. Remember, once you’ve done this, you have connected these cards for Self-Readings. You’ve connected them to yourself not for others. I buy oracle card decks for myself and I buy others for my clients and I program them differently so that the support I get are divinely guided for just my own self-readings or for those of my clients.  Once you’ve created a way to connect to your Oracle Cards from your own inner wisdom, you will see that the cards bring greater meaning and your lessons from them will have a bigger impact in your lives!

Have you created a ceremony to connect to your Oracle Cards? What do you do to make the connection to cards that support your self-readings?

  2. Laura, Do Oracle cards provide a way to connect with you intuition? It seems that the tips for getting ready to use Oracle cards could also be used for sitting in meditation. I like the idea of clearing and cleaning in order to open yourself up for receiving guidance. Thanks for sharing!

Anytime you are looking to tap into your intuition, Janine, it is best to sit still ~ whatever that is to you, for a moment. Yes, Oracle Cards do help you tap into your inner wisdom. Used well, they are ‘signs’ if you will on what you need to focus on in order to receive the best answer possible! Great Question 🙂

  4. Whoa, I’ve never heard of consecrating my cards! I have a Tarot Deck that I love and have used for years, but not with any regularity… except lately. I will do this!

Yeah!!! It will make a huge difference. I might suggest BEFORE consecrating them (since they are a ‘used’ deck) to do a clearing of them first. You can do this simply by putting them in the light of a new moon (beginnings) or a full moon (manifestations) overnight and then consecrate them!!! Keep Smiling 🙂

  6. I’m with Nancy, I’ve never heard of consecrating Oracle cards. As a former, “buttoned-up” corporate person, I’m new to the world of Oracle cards, but getting guidance from your own inner wisdom sounds lovely to me. Thanks, Laura.

  8. I had a hard time getting a reading that made any sense with a couple of my oracle decks, even after trying several suggestions from different articles I read. So then I came across this one n tried the visualization she mentioned and it pretty much turned those decks into personal psychic consultants, it was crazy lol. That was several months ago n I haven’t touched them since and I often wonder if they’d still have thst intense connection with me, after sitting on a shelf for awhile. But anyways I was very much in awe at how well these suggestions worked out for me n my cards. Thank you
