L is for Love

The Soul-Wise Living Alphabet

Inspired April 2013

The Soul-Wise Living Alphabet is launched to Awaken Your Spirit & empower your thinking. Words are Energy! They can lift us up and they can just as easily bring us down. Spirit driven words will raise your vibration UP. By finding the meaning these words have in your life and embracing them, one at a time each day ~ after the course of a month, The Soul-Wise Living Alphabet will have raised your energy up. My desire for you is that you are able to embrace your inner spirit  and, as a result, live In-Joy. ~ laura

L is for, what else but, Love.

As I said J is for Joy and that is one of the most important words in the Soul-Wise Living Alphabet. Love IS the most important word

I’m going to approach Soul-Wise Living’s definition of love from a love of self.  To live Soul-Wise, you must connect with your inner spirit, your soul. When you do, you will see that nothing other than it exists within your soul. When you see this, you see clearly that in order To Love, you must bring forth this self-love.

Can you love someone else without allowing this spirit to come through? Can you love something in this world without bringing forth this radiant beam of love from within. Life will come in the way of that Love if you don’t connect with it from within. There is too much resistance, too much ego and too much temptation not to allow your inner love to shine on.

One of the definitions that caused me pause was “Love is an assurance of affection” (meriam webster) And, is that not true? Love is an assurance and we offer assurance that affection will exist. To be able to do this with deep knowledge and assurance one must live from the wisdom of their soul and spirit.

When someone says the word, what’s the first thing you think of? I always think of the song “Love is a many splendored thing”  It’s initial verse is:

Love is a many splendored thing
It’s the April rose
That only grows in the early spring
Love is nature’s way of giving
A reason to be living
The golden crown that makes a man a king

It is the reason to be living and it IS nature’s way of giving. It is the nature of who you really are ~ your spirit and your light.  It is all within you. Shine it On us by settling into the wisdom of your soul.

What do you think of when you first hear the word LOVE? How do you let Love come through you?

  1. Self love is essential for us to take care of our bodies and nourish it in a way that preserves health. Often times we get caught up with trying to keep up. In the end, we lose a part of ourselves.

Indeed ~ it’s so much easier to keep ourselves in place then it is to go find ourselves when lost!

  2. I think of the Beatles song “Love is all you need.” I guess you are done with your A-L posts. Love is all you need! Kidding aside, I really like the second part of your blog. I use this insight too. We can sit around for a lifetime for someone else to share love with us, or we can BRING IT! Excellent blog post.
