The Soul-Wise Living Alphabet

Inspired April 2013

The Soul-Wise Living Alphabet is launched to Awaken Your Spirit & empower your thinking. Words are Energy! They can lift us up and they can just as easily bring us down. Spirit driven words will raise your vibration UP. By finding the meaning these words have in your life and embracing them, one at a time each day ~ after the course of a month, The Soul-Wise Living Alphabet will have raised your energy up. My desire for you is that you are able to embrace your inner spirit  and, as a result, live In-Joy. ~ laura

Y is for Yin & Yang.

Yin & Yang is the Chinese philosophy of two complementary pieces of life. Yin is negative, dark and feminine. Yang is positive, bright and masculine. The interaction of the two, yin and yang, brings harmony to the Universe.

Everything has Yin & Yang in it. When you have two much of one or the other, life can be out of balance. Each influence all. They are found in pairs….sun/moon, cold/hot, dark/light…… They are not separate. Each relies upon and interacts with the other. Without one, the other would not exist.

Yin & Yang can be applied to living a Soul-Wise Life. Balance is incredibly important. Rest/activity, work/play, solitude/companionship are representative of balanced living. This can come from your inner wisdom. Understanding what your needs are and embracing and creating that balance in your life is using this principal of Yin & Yang.

The balance of Yin & Yang is critical. Where can you see it in your own life? How can you strive to achieve more balance?

  1. I use the concept of yin & yang with my kids all the time – they seem to get it – more than most adults I know. Thanks for this post.

  2. The yin-yang principle is another facet of the Law of Polarity. This law governs creation, yet the word creation is often erroneously used, for nothing is ever really created, right? All new things merely result from the changing of something that “was” into something that now “is”. I find this reassuring, as it means that creation is simply a matter of shifting energies.

to take that thinking one step further If creation is a matter of shifting energies, then anything is possible to create! Polarity is energy and you are so right about it’s ability to create!!! 🙂
