How to use Fire To Awaken Your Intuition

Everyone needs time to reconnect with their spirit during each day ~ especially if you are looking to follow your own inner guidance~ your intuition. It’s imperative for your intuition to work to have a positive mindset, to have emotional equilibrium, and to be well grounded. Too often, the other key element of ourselves is our own spirit ~ the spirit that lives within. In order for your intuition to be clear, you must be able to raise your spirits and your vibration so that you are calibrated to allow for your intuition to be heard.

Fire is is best used to elevate your spirit and awaken your intuition because it is the element that is associated with spirit.

Fire, Elemental living, Spirit of Fire

How many Fire Elements Can you Count?

You can embrace the element of Fire anytime. Fire is seen in the color of orange and bright yellows. It’s there in the height of the trees that surround you. Fire, of course, is seen in a flame of a candle, a fire pit, even a gas stove.

This simple exercise will allow you to shift into Spirit anytime, anywhere. Find the element of fire that is right there in your vision and focus on it ~ breathing in it’s light (literal or figurative) while saying something like “My Spirit is Ignited with the energy I see and feel” This exercise that will center you back into your true self. When you do this with intention, this will allow you to stop chaotic thought patterns, soothe your emotion and hear that wisdom from within to guide you to the next best step to take.

By doing this quick and easy exercise that embraces the element of fire and connects you back to your spirit, you will allow your natural insights and your intuition to be reignited. Fire. From embers to it’s roar, it allows you to focus on the spirit within. Using it’s energy, you move past your thinking self and beyond your emotional self and embrace your own inner flame and your own intuition.

When you embrace the element of Fire, you discover how close you are to hearing that wise inner voice of truth. By doing so, you can step forward from any situation with renewed energy and vitality! What Fire element is in front of you right now that you can do this with?

  2. An interesting way to focus your thoughts on spirit. I very much liked the personal power in the mantra you suggested “My Spirit is Ignited with the energy I see and feel” I will have to give this a try when I am about to begin writing a bit later today and invite spirit to join me in a new way. 🙂

  3. Laura, so glad you shared this exercise here. It is one of the amazing and simple ways to connect that I learned from you at your retreat in March and I use it often to quickly be centered and connect with “light within” and it is so awesome that chaotic thoughts pause with only and intentional breath and internal wisdom steps front and center. Hope you are having and amazing day!

  4. Boy, I’m getting a lot of nudges from the Universe these days! Your post is another such nudge, Laura. I recently bought a yellow candle for use as a focus when I meditate. Yellow is the color associated with the solar plexus chakra, which I think of as the power, or get-it-done chakra. Apparently I get to double-team myself with my candle by strengthening my power chakra AND awakening my intuition. Wow – talk about efficient! 🙂

  6. Laura, thanks for posting this…I never thought of the colors as elements of fire and am not better prepared to use them as fire. I will incorporate images of fire in my practice.

Colors align with all the elements, Lilia. They are often the ‘tool’ I use to connect ~~~ because they are so readily available!!!! Flame Up as I say!! Flame Up!

  7. Laura, you always give such powerful wisdom. Perhaps intuitively, I light candles. Now I have more intention behind this practice and will certainly light when I need to connect and awaken Spirit.
