There are many ways to master the quick and easy decisions with confidence BUT we stop them by putting up barriers. The one that I see most often is the minimizer words that we use in our own inner chatter. They diminish the power of your thoughts. When you eliminate these from your thoughts you have found the most effective way to master decision. The biggest culprit of all: The word BUT. When you need to make the small decisions of every day life quickly and easily, listen to your inner chatter and see what words are there. The hem & haw words ~ especially but ~ will slow down the process if not stop you in your tracks.
Energetic barriers stop us from stepping forward into all that is meant to be. They exist all around us~ especially in our own inner chatter. We want to step forward. We want to proceed. We want success but <dot, dot, dot>. It is here you can start the learning process of mastering decision making.
Here’s an exercise to see how barriers exist. Read these sentences slowly and feel the energetic barrier that is put up at the word ‘But’:
See how you have desires and wishes but the “BUT” gets in the way. Now read these sentences ~ shifted without the BUT in them:
Reframing your “BUT”s…..reframing your minimizing words allows for more momentum. Even if you do decide not to do something~ it comes from a place of empowering choice. When our words create energetic barriers, our days are slower. We hem and haw over decisions and do not get as much done. For me, it’s not so much about NOT getting much done as it is sitting in that space of wasted decision making time. I’d much rather sit in a place of JOY and curiosity over what will unfold. By taking the “BUT” out of it, you no likely will move your butt into Joy more!!! To master Decision Making, you must master your thoughts. To do this, begin with the easy decisions of day to day life.
Take this out of the equation and you will start making decisions with greater ease, gain more confidence and start moving your own butt forward. Stop, take a breath of fresh AIR and use it to refocus your thoughts!!! You’ll be glad you did. (Oh and when it comes from a spiritual or enlightened perspective. You can certainly use Muscle Testing and Dowsing/Pendulum techniques which i have talked about and will talk about more BUT for the time being try reframing your words and see what happens! ) Once you’ve worked on how to master these day-to-day decisions, the harder decisions become easier!!!
